With the rising demand for game development skills across industries, the Game Development Bootcamp was designed to prepare students with the skills and professional network needed to get started in the industry.

Program Outcomes


Program Outcomes

Students learn game development foundations through a dynamic curriculum based on the Unity game engine and C# programming. Classes will dive deep into game development including topics like optimization, rendering, game states, databases, agile methodology, Unity APIs, Git, and more.

Learners take their new skills to the next level on challenging projects, working with their peers to build a portfolio of games and projects that showcase their real-time 3D knowledge. Students gain access to continuation courses that cover additional in-demand technologies, including Niantic Lightship, SparkAR, and Unreal.

Students receive a Digital Badge from University of Toronto SCS and Circuit Stream, showcasing their accomplishments to future employers.

Students benefit from a wide array of career support services like resume and networking support, technical interview preparation, portfolio reviews, soft skills training, and 1:1 coaching to help them put their best foot forward in the industry.

Over the course of 30 weeks, you will cover game development technologies using real-world, project-based examples. You will learn how to: implement complex interaction systems for different player inputs, create robust game systems, develop a vision for a game—and build it.

You will receive extensive on-demand support both inside and outside of class each week. You will also have access to a tutor network.
